veski delivers the inspiring women fellowships to meet a strong need to assist outstanding female leaders in STEM juggling career and carer commitments, so they can pursue their science and technology careers.
The fellowships provide an opportunity for female leaders to remain competitive in their field, enhancing the current talent pool and affecting cultural change.
The inaugural inspiring women fellowship recipients were awarded by the Governer of Victoria in 2015:
- - Dr Natalie Hannan from The University of Melbourne
- - Dr Maria Liaskos from The Hudson Institute of Medical Research
- - Dr Emily Nicholson from Deakin University
- - Dr Catherine Satzke from the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute

About the program
The veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program is an initiative to support women in the STEM industries that is led by veski with the support of the British Consulate General Melbourne. This dynamic program is designed to empower women at different career stages with the skills, networks and mindset to develop and achieve their career goals within STEM industries.
